  • Retreat Location

    • Akalki (Click this link to see in Google Maps)
    • Indications: 
      1. If international, take a flight to Mexico City and then to the city of Chetumal. All you need to do then is to take a 40-minute taxi drive to Akalki, Bacalar.
      2. Take a flight to Cancún and be prepared for a 5-hour bus/taxi drive from the airport. This option is amazing if you would like to visit other towns on the road, such as Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and Felipe Carrillo Puerto.

  • Arrival

    • Check-in at Akalki (Click to see in Google Maps) will be on December 17th at 15:00. We highly recommend you to arrive at this time so you can enjoy de facilities before our first evening gathering.
    • Check-out will be on December 20th at 12:00.

  • What to bring...

    • Clothing: Comfortable clothes for the ceremony. Riviera Maya feels like paradise during December, but it is good to bring a nice sweater just in case.
    • Water bottle.
    • Swimsuit.
    • Natural sunscreen; biodegradable. It is important to wash away any chemicals (including bio-degradable) from your body before going into the lagoon.
    • Natural Bug Repellent.
    • Sun hat or cap.
    • A positive attitude and an open heart.

  • Cancellation Policy

    We ask for a non-refundable $500 USD deposit in order to guarantee your spot in the retreat. Since it is a small group it is important to have detailed planning to provide an unforgettable experience.

    If cancelation is needed please let us know with anticipation. If you made a full payment and won't be able to attend you can cancel until 10 days prior to the date when the retreat starts to get a refund. We ask for a 10 day period time after the retreat ends to give the refund back. The $500 deposit is non-refundable. Any cancellation done 9 days prior to the retreat does not apply for a refund.

    The deposit can be transferred to any person in order for the spot to be taken. This doesn't make the deposit refundable.
